Nice to meet you
About Me
I'm Daniel — a software engineer passionate about building clean, reliable software and understanding how things work under the hood. I believe the best way to learn is by doing, and the best way to solidify knowledge is by teaching it.
My journey into tech started with curiosity — taking apart computers as a kid, writing my first Python script in college, and realizing that software is the closest thing we have to magic. You type words into a file, and things happen in the real world.
These days, I'm focused on full-stack web development, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps. I enjoy the whole spectrum — from crafting a pixel-perfect UI to optimizing database queries to writing Terraform configs. The variety keeps things interesting.
Outside of code, I'm into fitness, reading (mostly non-fiction and sci-fi), and tinkering with my home lab setup. I'm a firm believer in continuous improvement — always iterating, always shipping, always learning.
This site is my corner of the internet — a place to share what I'm working on, what I'm learning, and to connect with like-minded people. If something here resonates with you, I'd love to hear from you.
Interests
What I'm Into
Building
Side projects, automation scripts, anything that solves a real problem. I love the process of going from idea to deployed product.
Learning
Currently deep-diving into systems programming with Rust, and exploring the self-hosting ecosystem.
Writing
Documenting what I learn through blog posts. Writing clarifies thinking and helps others on similar paths.
